Helm.ai, a leading provider of AI-based software solutions for autonomous driving from Silicon Valley, has opened a new location in Böblingen, Baden-Württemberg.

With this step, Helm.ai underscores its growth strategy and the importance of the region for research and development, and the collaboration with German automotive manufacturers. Founded in 2017 by CEO Vladislav Voroninski, the company has raised over 103 million US dollars to date and currently employs more than 80 people worldwide. With its newly opened location in Böblingen, Helm.ai is enhancing its research and development efforts, the building of partnerships, and advancing its expansion into the European automotive market.

Helm.ai focuses on software for autonomous driving using Deep Teaching™ – its proprietary technique for unsupervised learning, trained on massive datasets without requiring costly manual data labeling.

Establishing operations in THE LÄND provides the US start-up with access to talent, leading automotive manufacturers and suppliers, as well as strong research networks – offering excellent conditions for further expansion, innovative developments, and shaping the mobility of tomorrow.

The settlement was also a success due to the strong cooperation between the AI xpress innovation center in Böblingen, where Helm.ai is now based, the Stuttgart Region Economic Development Corporation (WRS), and Baden-Württemberg International.
