Information, deletion, and correction

How do we collect your data?
On the one hand, your data are collected when you are disclosing them to us. These can e.g., be data you are entering into a contact form.
Other data are collected by our IT systems automatically or following your consent when you visit the website. These are mainly technical data. These data are collected automatically as soon as you access this website.
What do we use your data for?
We use your data to guarantee that the website is available without interruption and to offer our services to you in an optimum manner.

Cloud telephony
Cloud telephony is a virtual telephone system where the hardware is not located in-house, but rather at a provider. VoIP (Voice over IP: Internet telephony) enables telephony via the internet as a pure software solution. This section of the data protection notice only refers to the technical data collected and not to the call content.
Cloud telephony is used for internal and external communication.
Data processing takes place exclusively in a member state of the European Union or in another state party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. An order processing contract has been concluded with all service providers involved, which sets out the obligations and regulations under data protection law.

All data that is processed was collected directly from you. No data is transmitted to third parties. Baden-Württemberg International only stores the personal data for as long as it is required for the fulfillment of the purposes and no further legal retention periods speak against deletion or after 5 years at the latest. Call logs are deleted after 30 days at the latest.
Chatbot
We have integrated a chatbot on our website by means of which the users of the website can search for information relevant to them. For this purpose, we are using AI from the US company OpenAI. The service provider is OpenAI OpCo, LLC, 3180 18th Street, San Francisco, CA, USA.
You can enter your inquiries (so-called prompts) in the chatbot and receive a corresponding reply from the AI system. Only the content of the website EXPÄND INTO THE LÄND are used in a closed system for this purpose. The prompts with all information contained therein are transmitted to OpenAI for functional reasons. No other personal data are transmitted to OpenAI. The prompts are not stored by OpenAI.
We offer the chatbot on our website to enable users an improved interactive use of the website and to ensure that they promptly obtain relevant information. BW_i does not assume any responsibility for the content of the prompts. We would like to point out that no confidential or personal data should be entered in the chatbot. You will be comprehensively informed about this and other information with regard to AI when you start the chatbot.
The use of the chatbot requires your consent. When you visit the website, you are requested to decide whether you wish to use the AI-supported website with the chatbot or the conventional website without AI support. The legal basis for processing your data is Article 6 (1) (a) GDPR (Consent) and Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR (Legitimate interest of BW_i to be able to offer you a user-friendly interactive website). No data are transferred to OpenAI without your consent.

In addition, when you consent to the AI-supported website you will be asked whether you would like to additionally consent to the local storage of the prompts you have entered by BW_i as website operator. These data are solely used to improve the search results of the AI application. In this instance too, no personal data and IP address are stored. If you give your consent, the entered prompts, including the reply, are stored in a BW_i database for 90 days and are made available to the provider of the support for the AI-supported website for analysis and improvement of the AI system. This disclosure is also based on your consent according to Article 6 (1) (a) GPDR (Consent).
3. Applications and scripts
YouTube
Our website makes use of YouTube plug-ins to integrate and display video content. The provider of the video portal is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA.
When you access a page with integrated YouTube plug-ins, a connection is made with the YouTube servers. YouTube learns from this which of our pages you have accessed. YouTube can directly allocate how you use the website to your personal profile if you are logged in to your YouTube account. Logging off from YouTube beforehand offers you the opportunity to prevent this.
The use of YouTube occurs in the interest of an appealing presentation of our online services. This constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Calenso
Calenso is a plug-in by means of which it is possible to coordinate appointments with the employees of BW_i. Calenso AG has its headquarters at Sonnmatthof 3, 6023 Rothenburg, Switzerland.
You as the user can directly book appointments with selected employees of BW_i by providing personal data. Free appointments of the employees are displayed to you to this end. If you have booked an appointment, Calenso deletes the personal data 10 days after the appointment has taken place. BW_i stores your data until the purpose of storage no longer applies. The data will only be transmitted with your consent. The legal basis for this is Article 6 (1) (a) GDPR (Consent). You can revoke your consent at any time.

On our website, we have inserted additional share buttons below our current announcements. The share buttons enable you to share our announcements on your social media account or to forward them to third parties. Currently, sharing is possible with the following platforms: E-mail and LinkedIn. To prevent the undesirable transmission of your user data to these services, the functions are only activated when you click on a link. Only when the link is accessed will your browser possibly establish a direct connection with the servers of the services mentioned.

Swat.io
We use Swat.io by Swat.io GmbH, Schönbrunner Straße 213-215, 1120 Vienna, Austria, to manage the content of our social media channels. The following channel is maintained by us through Swat.io:
In addition, we obtain automatically provided statistics and evaluations with regard to our channels. The statistics comprise among other the user name, the communication content, the total number of page views, “Like” information, information on page activities and post interactions, ranges, video calls/views and details about the portion of men/women among our fans/followers.
The use is based on our legitimate interests, i.e., interest in an efficient provision of the content in the social media and in the optimization of our online offering according to Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR.
We have no influence on the specific storage period of the processed data since this is determined by the individual social media channels. Further information in this regard can be found in our privacy statement under the paragraphs of the individual presences.

Users can maintain their existing contacts and establish new ones. Companies can create profiles to which photos and other corporate information can be uploaded. Other LinkedIn users have access to this information and can write their own articles and share this content with others.
The emphasis is on the professional exchange on specialist topics with individuals sharing the same professional interests. Beyond that, LinkedIn is frequently used by companies and organizations to hire employees and to present themselves as an attractive employer.
